Nylon + 15% Glass Fiber (PA+GF15) Welding Rod

Nylon + 15% Glass Fiber (PA+GF15) plastic welding rod is used when welding glass reinforced polyamide (nylon) plastic.

Glass fibers can be added to nylon plastic to enhance its strength. The identification symbol on the part indicates the amount of glass fiber added (e.g., PA+GF15 contains 15% glass fiber, while PA+GF20 contains 20%). Glass reinforced nylon is used in radiator tanks, intake manifolds, and oil pans.

Each welding rod measures 12 inches (30 cm) in length.
